You can depend on Hydromatic pumps to provide years of reliable service. Currently, there are thousands of units operating trouble-free throughout the world. As one of the oldest pump manufacturers in the world, Hydromatic offers you field-proven pumps and systems for all your requirements. Hydromatic has a 5 year pro-rated warranty available. We also supply complete technical support, and ongoing engineering assistance for the life of the pump.

First, the oil bath keeps the motor and bearings cool by dissipating heat and maintaining the correct operating temperature. The oil transfers heat generated in the motor windings to the housing where it is dissipated. Second, the oil bath locks out airborne moisture contamination which destroys motors and bearings. Air carries moisture that condenses with temperature changes and causes premature motor and bearing failure.

And, the oil bath permanently lubricates the bearings which minimizes heat and flushes contaminants away from bearing races. Heat and contaminants cause grease breakdown that leads to premature failure of grease-packed bearings supplied by other manufacturers. You get long pump life because the oil-filled motor dissipates heat from the windings, through the oil, to the outer housing.

Self Priming Pumps

Save Money with Peak Performance
The Hydromatic self primer series has external adjustments that allows you to easily maintain original operating efficiency and peak performance. By simply turning the external cap screws you easily adjust the clearance between the impeller and wear plate. You can make the external adjustment without disturbing the system. You don’t have to disassemble the pump and pipes. These external adjustment also allows you to quickly restore original efficiency and performance. External bolts move the bearing cap, which in turn moves the bearing and shaft assembly. This moves the impeller closer to the stationary wear plate for the proper clearance to restore peak performance and save money.

Dependable Operation
You get dependable pumping operation with the Hydromatic Dual Seal System. Two seals protect the bearings to give you longer pump life. We are aware of no other manufacturer that offers you this type of seal design for long-term, reliable pump service. The unique dual seal system incorporates an oil chamber which provides lubrication for the seals. The inboard seal offers protection because it “self-seals” tightly against the stationary face with pressure surges from the volute.

Hydromatic Pumps use Low Friction
Long-lasting John Crane Type 21 mechanical seals that you can obtain off-the-shelf worldwide. Tungsten Carbide seals are optional. The Hydromatic Dual Seal System offers you long, dependable pump operation. font-size: 12px;">Hydromatic's complete grinder package is a proven, innovative solution to a changing world. The use of grinder pumps prove to be a superior solution that is cost effective and minimally disruptive to the natural environment. Submersible Grinder Pumps keep beauty in the environment and cash in the pocket.

A grinder pump based system can be installed using relatively small diameter piping (as small as 1-1/4 " to 2" laterals and mains), which can be laid in shallow trenches. Since the wastewater is pumped under low pressures, the piping can follow the terrain and be installed at minimal depths (just under the frost line in colder climates and according to local codes).

Cost savings come from the ability to eliminate costly deep excavation and through the use of small diameter pipe. Minimal excavation and soil disruption means that the beauty of any existing natural surrounding features can be saved.

TL-Pro System New!
A quality lift-out system available with your choice of a Hydromatic 2HP submersible rated grinder pump, the new Float Plus control panel, three weighted float switches and a fiberglass basin with anti-floatation collar.
Hydromatic grinder pumps offer you a field-proven, low cost solution to transport sewage and wastewater. Depending on the application Hydromatic offers both the centrifugal and the positive displacement grinder. Hydromatic also provides pre-packaged systems with everything included to meet your installation requirements. The basin piping from the home and tie-in point require only shallow trenches for installation, and the ground around the home is disrupted very little in the process.

Hydromatic grinders are ideal for residential, commercial, and resort applications. Used in low pressure sewer systems, the Hydromatic grinder offers a significant cost savings over conventional gravity-fed systems. You receive complete technical support and ongoing engineering assistance for the life of the pump. Different applications demand different type pumps in order to assure reliable, trouble-free pumping.

For liquids up to 140 ºF, the SE-50 HT pump is a suitable selection. This model performs like a 1/3 HP pump, but offers a 1/2 HP motor - thus providing a 1.40 service factor. Internal motor heat is reduced, which compensates for higher liquid temperature.

For liquid temperatures of up to 190 ºF, Stancor offers high temperature stainless steel pumps for water (SSS-HT models) and sewage and wastewater (SS-HT models). All stainless steel HT models provide a service factor of 1.40-1.45 and include critical materials of construction that allow for intermittent 190º water temperatures. These include special motor insulation, silicon-carbide mechanical seals, Viton® oil seals, o-rings, gaskets and PVC jacketed cable. For applications where longer pumping cycles are necessary (more than 10 minutes at a time), special heat transfer oil can be added in the motor chamber so as to dissipate internal heat from the motor more rapidly (available with SS-HT series pumps).

Years of experience and sound engineering practices have produced high temperature pumps that stand up against demanding conditions and result in pumps that really do the job.

All #316 stainless steel construction
